About the Artisan Gold Plated Collection:
"Artisan" to distinguish it from regular commercial gold plating. After I do all of the metal finishing on my jewelry, I send it to a plating company and order the thickest gold plating available. This is usually reserved for heavy wear objects like belt buckles and rings. But I want the deluxe on ALL of my plated pieces. So the jewelry is plated with 3 microns of gold, basically, 3 times the amount of gold in common gold plated jewelry. This ensures the piece will look and act like gold, never dulling or wearing off with normal use. So don't be afraid of the Gold Plated pieces, no one will ever know they are plated and not solid!
This dressage horse in a horseshoe measures 1" tall and 1& 1/8" long, .25 deep. The shoe alone is 1/8" thick! Beautiful piece and rendition of a dressage horse in a nice extended trot.
This piece is signed by me on the back. Each signature is engraved while the pendant was in the wax stage of casting. This means that each signature is original and unique to the piece. Just this little extra effort makes the jewelry very special.
The 18" gold plated snake chain is included. The chain is the perfect weight for the bold pendant. They are stock chains that I buy and are the standard gold plating over sterling silver.
